Looking forward to reading the next issue tomorrow! Johns continues a great story in Green Lantern #16.
I have some questions however…I was informed and reminded that this arc takes place after the comic series 52. That is where the laws limiting the movement of the superheros. My question, then, is about the Justice League. In reading the Justice League of America 1-6, the team is not really organized yet. So how are they coming in to save the day with the whole team, that they haven’t fully recruited yet. I just saw that as odd.Â
Again, this may be a moment for me to be enlightened again, but I don’t really recognized all of the characters. DC wouldn’t put them in the Justice League if they wheren’t known–but ‘m a little behind on the more minor characters in the DC Universe. Hawk Girl, Red Tornado, Green Lantern (from Justice Society of America, I thought), and, of course; Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman—I know who they are. But, who are these new people? I don’t believe that they were introduced in Justice League of America. Which validates the question I have about the time line and its selective influence on the story.
I was happy to see that the Justice League was on Green Lantern’s side after all. At the end of Green Lantern #15 I was confused. It was good to see them come and bail Hal Jordan out of his trouble.

Don’t have much time to look at my copy of it now, but later I will catch you up on those characters.
But anyways, just because a book came out the same month as another one doesn’t necessarily mean they take place at the same time. Therefore, the current Green Lantern arc takes place after the first arc over in Justice League of America. Surprisingly to me, a lot of people don’t understand this and get confused. I never assume everything is taking place at the exact same time. If it did, then how could Batman be in Batman and in the Justice League?
