From time to time, I have to re-adjust my eating habits to get back down to the weight I like to stay at. Now, is one of those times. I put on about 10 pounds while I was in South Carolina, so want to get back in control before I gain 10 more. It won’t take me long, if I follow the Weight Watchers points plus system.
Tuesday, I was very busy and stopped for a quick break at Denny’s. I went to Denny’s and selected the Southwest Turkey Sandwich. I thought to myself—”That is healthy. I am going to do pretty well for myself by picking such a light lunch!” Boy, was I wrong. I first may add, that it was very good—and unless you are watching your weight I’d really recommend it! But the sandwich is 800 calories or 21 Weight Watchers Points.
I expected it to match the Panera Bread Smoked Turkey Breast which is 420 Calories or 11 Weight Watchers Points. The lesson I learned is that any turkey sandwich won’t necessarily do.

Just made the exact same mistake. 21 ts for this sandwich leaves me 5 pts for the rest of the day and its only 9am. 🙁
