I don’t want to take this too seriously–I know that there is an entire world of collectors out there that crave this stuff. But, to me it is only a toy. With that said, however, it is good to see a decent Superman toy on the market. I haven’t seen it except for this picture–they don’t sell them at the PX (I guess the Army thinks that we have better things to do, I dunno.) I hope his feet move so he can stand up, at least.
Assuming that he can, it is good to see a Superman toy that is worth buying. Last year, I wanted to put an Action Figure in the apartment, to kinda motivate me in my new hobby of comic books. All I could find were these crazy “Up-armored” Superman Figures. Why does Superman need Armour? He’s Superman! (Ok, krytopnite, got it.)Â
After shopping around to Wal-Mart (which is always a mistake) and Target, I finally went to Toys ‘R’ Us. They had several of the “Battle Damage” Superman and only one of the regular ol’ Superman left. I guess that is what is selling, not the crazy Super Armor or “Super Blaster”. Maybe the marketers can take that in consideration.
