The day after Christmas, it seems, is a good day to play Call of Duty.
Over the weekend, I got pretty beat up in my attempts to play. Some of this, I’m convinced, is due to a poor internet connection in my house. It drops out repeatedly. But most of it is due to the fact in many of the matches I am overmatched.
So Friday through Tuesday of this week, when I had a break from family fun, I tried to grind away. I don’t think I did terrible, but I did worse that I wanted to do.
However, today this all changed. This is due to the fact that many of the tougher people to play against were back at work. Luckily, I had a half day which gave me a chance to play against newer players-those that received their copy of Black Ops for Christmas. In many cases, these players were better than average but most of the players were equally skilled if not a little better than I. This gave me a chance to earn a EKIA/D ratio of over one on every match but two.
So yes it was a good day to play. But I also did some training to by playing Infinite Warfare and Black Ops 3 with my youngest two. It’s a fun and productive way to spend time with them.
