It was a very busy work week here in Korea. I began the week in a rush and it ended nearly as fast as it started.
So, on Monday, I needed my coffee. Here in Korea, brewed coffee is hard to come by, so many times we drink the powered instant coffee from Maxim packets.
On Tuesday night, I took a moment to relax for a moment to play my Sims 4 computer game. It is an easy way to unwind from the day…sometimes by messing with the lives of my Sims!
Our Division UMTs took a trip to see the DMZ on Wednesday. It was a great tour of the facilities there and in makes me thankful for the freedoms we enjoy in America. While we were there, I was able to also visit the Chapel at the Joint Security Area where the Republic of Korea Soldiers are able to worship while they are stationed there.
After another busy day, which always follows when I’m out of the office for a day, I sat down to write on Thursday night. I was also able to listen to some music on Spotify while I finished up.
Friday night is the beginning of the weekend. As I got settled in my chair I noticed that my comic books, with my reading glasses on the top, had not been moved since I placed them there on Saturday night. I hope that I will be able to enjoy some reading time tomorrow and over the weekend.
