The packers finished packing our house this morning.
I started the day listening to the rain as it fell and I knew then that the planned long run through the state park simply would not happen. So, when I saw that the rain had stopped went out for a two miler run—which turned into a four mile.
The packers arrive 15 minutes before they had planned and they quickly got to work. They finished packing everything on the inside of the house and completed heir inventory paper work.
Then, it was to Gramma’s house we went—for an afternoon of seeing family for the day. The kids enjoyed the divergence from the TV as did I. It was good to be around family a little more before we left.
We now sleep in a house in which most of its contents is wrapped in brown paper. Our home of six months is looking less and less like ours and more of the rental we entered in June.
