I was talking to a friend today about how I want to, one day, learn to play Bridge. He, of course, asked why? I spoke about the complexities of the game and how it would be nice learn.
He responded by saying “it is too bad there aren’t any old folks around to teach you.” I said “only the old know how to play because it is such a complex game.”
Then, I explained, that Bridge is a Doctorate Level game on cards.
“Spades” is an Undergrad Game.
“Canasta”, which I play, is Master’s Level.
“Bridge” is Doctorate level stuff.
