As the week began, the prompt for the day (Monday) was “circles”. I looked around the office and staring me right in the face was a big circle on the lens of my Diana Mini. I like to use this camera when I have the chance and was showing one of the KATUSAs the camera and it has stayed on my desk ever sense. I use on sunny days.
Tuesday’s prompt was “More than one”. I walked down the main road on post and reflected on the fact the fact that it takes more than one country to keep the piece in this region. We can’t do it for ourselves (and shouldn’t) and the Republic of Korea needs out help at the same time. I am always proud to see the two flags flying together.
Wednesday, I tried a new set of prompts and the choice for the day was “find the need”. I thought about the fact that at the time, I really needed to go to the commissary, but it was closed. So, I thought it would be interesting to show my empty can of Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate. I still can’t believe that I have emptied and entire can.
Thursday, I was walking back in the warm temperature of that day. When I came around the corner, I saw all the KATUSAs enjoying the warmth by playing baseball with a roll of wrapping paper and a rubber ball. I thought I would join in and get a couple of photos. I definitely had more photos taken than balls I hit! It was fun to break the day up.
Today, I went to the store after work to pick up some thing for a care package I am sending home. I first took some time to take a photo of the lite rail car that would carry me.
When I was getting ready to upload the photo to Instagram, I noticed an interesting angle of people on the train picture in my view finder, so I took the shot.
Every week it is interesting to see how the week unfolds in one post. I hope you’ll join me again next week for another round of photos!
