On my TimesReader 2.0, the New York Times Crossword in available each day. I would love to learn how to a daily crossword effectively. Maybe as study for the GRE, my vocabulary will improve. Then, I only have to find the three letter word for “Klugman’s ‘Quincy M.E.‘ co-star.” (which would be Ito, by the way)

In the Army, there is a term when a Soldier has to redo a particular course of training for more satisfactory results—it is called the “recycle”. I read this morning that if your child needs to be recycled through their “Disney Baby Einstein” training—Disney will give you an upgrade to their products. So if your child “bolos” preschool; then send your Baby Einstein DVD back.

After a little research on the LA Philharmonic Orchestra for my post yesterday, I uncovered a site that carries a lot of information on Classical Recordings and Concerts. The site is called “Instant Encore“, and it looks promising. I haven’t spent a large amount of time on the site, yet, but I think it will be very useful for other interested in Classical Music.

I had a brain storm of an idea the other day. If I can use a DVD marriage training resource for my classes, why can’t I use them in my personal life? So, here is my idea: if you are interested in a marriage retreat and cannot get to one (if you can I do highly recommend the Weekend to Remember retreats), do your own. Order a DVD from a trusted source and watch the video with your spouse on a hotel DVD player or bring your own DVD player—it would be a wonderful way to spend some time focused on your marriage. There are many different videos on Amazon.com or ChristianBook.com. Give it a shot—it may be exactly what you need.

It is hard to imagine that my house will be empty next week after the movers come. It is going to be a busy week.
