I’ve written about this before, but RSS is the best thing that ever happened to the internet. I find it to be incredibly simplified the Google Reader.
What is the sudden gasp of celebration toward this little tool?
My recent subscription to the Great Performances Feed from PBS.org. I received today the notification that the Inaugural Concert of Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic was aired in an abridged format and is now online for viewing. I would’ve never known had it not been for my subscription to their RSS feed.
I am continually amazed by the availability of great programs, videos, and articles posted on the internet. One can never see them all—except for spending all day going from site to site and back again. RSS does all of this for me, making available to me the enormous power of the internet to access what it available.
Today, is one of those days that I want to spend another hour or so subscribing to more feeds, so I see what else is out there to enjoy and learn and experience—all because of RSS.
