In a tribute to Julie Schwartz, DC Comics put together this little comic. On the eve of the Super Bowl, I thought I’d show it to you.
Several things came to mind when I picked this book up at the 50 cent sale several weeks ago. My first thought was that it would be great to use on Super Bowl Weekend. Then, I explored more. Obviously, the book is a tribute to Julius Schwartz, an editor with DC Comics. Then, the name Stan Lee caught my attention.
The book has two parts one written by Lee, and the other written by Paul Levitz and Keith Green. Both stories were interesting, but I would have to say that I personally liked the Stan Lee story better. That story was friendlier and more wholesome.  The second story was about the use of steroids. Â
If you get a chance take a look at this book, it is a nice easy read and gives you a feel for true comic history–just by reading it and being apart.
