On the back of many tea bag packages, or sometimes found on the box, there are instruction for how long to steep the tea before serving. These instructions should not be ignored as they may mean the difference from perfection and disaster. Some may assume that all teas are alike, but they are not. If there aren’t any instructions, I would probably recommend a solid three minutes the first time you prepare that tea and then adjust from there. So, the next tea you boil your water for tea, make sure you check the steep time for the perfect pot of tea.
