Why Play Golf?
I don’t know—I don’t play golf…
But I would like to.
I go through phases every now and then—which you as a reader
may be fully aware of. Right now…I’d like to play golf.
I want something to get me outside more.
Walking up and down the golf course would be a wonderful opportunity to walk over well manicured field and enjoying the scenery—for several hours.
I like golfing stuff.
That sounds silly but I really like to look at the nice stuff that you can get to play golf. Bright and shiny golf clubs. Cool golfing gloves. Golfing shirts. Golfing hats. Cool golf balls. Fishing doesn’t have the clean and nice stuff golfing has.
I want to have more things to play with my kids.
Golfing would be an exercise that I can play with my kids. Only Will really wants to go fishing—nobody else has the patience. At least with golf—you get to hit something.
But:
I don’t have clue how to play.
I don’t have any clubs.
I don’t have time to learn enough to not be embarrassed every time.
I don’t want to spend $15 or up every time I go out.
I don’t have enough money for the cool stuff.
So, five easy “No” answers to the three, I struggled to write. I guess I let this urge to play pass me by.
