I walked into a teashop a couple of weeks ago and one of the teas that the store offered was “Yorkshire Tea”. The store attendant described the tea as “pantry tea”, everyday British Tea. I bought a box of 40 bags along with another brand and I’m confident that I could not have made a better choice. I usually have a cup when I get up in the morning—either after my run (on run days) or right when I get out of the shower. Then, I take another cup with me to class in my travel mug. Over the last couple of week, Monica has also been sharing the tea with the kids during their “poetry tea time“.
The tea provides a wonderful taste of black tea. I enjoy the smooth flavor that the tea offers and the length of time it takes for the tea to become bitter, if I happen to drink too slow.
After buying Yorkshire Tea, I needed to understand how to manage bags without strings—which should not have become as big of a deal than I made it. After doing some research tonight of the tea company, I realize that I must try adding milk next time. So even after years of drinking tea, there is more to learn.
I found the tea available through the English Tea Store for American buyers. While you are on that site—you will want to take time to browse the other items that they have available.
