As I was out and about on Saturday, I stopped into a restaurant called Lotteria. Lotteria is a burger restaurant in Kora and expanding into other Asian countries, such as China and Vietnam. I was highly impressed by the proffessionalismand the class that I encountered during my brief visit.
For the several weeks I have lived in Korea, I was interested in this store called “Lotteria” as I passed by it in a taxi or bus. I thought that it must be a store for gambling, specifically playing the lottery. It makes sense, doesn’t it? I was told by a Korean, however, that the store was a very good restaurant, with a recommendation to visit. So, as I was walking home Saturday, I stopped in for lunch.
The inside of the restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. It included free WiFi and had plenty of space to freely spend some time there if I wished. The friendly person on the counter helped me order my meal with very little trouble, which was a pleasant experience. I enjoyed seeing the company slogan on the worker’s hat which said; “Made with 100% Passion.” I thought this was a great slogan!
When my food was ready, the buzzer given to me buzzed, and brought my tray to my seat. I ordered the Teriyaki Burger Combo (or called “set” in Korea). The burger tasted wonderful and I enjoyed the fresh lettuce and tomato added to the sandwich. The fries were delicious rivaling those sold at many restaurants in the States. The Coke was provided in a plastic cup that you return when you throw away your trash.
I had a wonderful visit to Lotteria. I loved the spaciousness of the seating area, the politeness of the staff, and the excellent flavor of the food. This place is definitely on my list to return to many times in the future.
