Each week begins to feel closer to the end of my time in Korea. As a part of finishing my projects, Sunday Night, I was able to finish up sorting my Opening Day Baseball 2016 cards. I threw them into my bags when I went home in February to get these sorted before I got home. They sat on the counter until recently, when I finally got an idea of how to sort them and the energy to do it. I am happy at least that is done—but I’ll have more to do when we finally get set up in El Paso.
Tuesday, I woke up to a beautiful sunrise as I was writing my morning pages.
Wednesday morning, I went to start my clearing. I laid out my gear and packed it, just in case the people at the Central Issue Facility (CIF) would take it early without an appointment….they didn’t.
Thursday, I was able to teach the Unit Ministry Teams about Noncombatant Evacuation Operations. I love to take time to train UMTs when I have the chance.
Today, I was finally able to turn in my gear. Luckily, I had already had an appointment on the books for this day. I was able to turn everything in that was required. I was happy that the turn-in was smooth and fast. Afterwards, my friend and I went to Krispie Kreme to wait for our ride. It was a great opportunity to enjoy a donut. Now, the clearing truly begins!
