God created all of us differently. We also have an appointed date in which we shall die. While people may be living longer than they were one hundred years ago, our lives are relatively short. God has provided us the hope of a heaven through His Son, but here on Earth—live in a way that you will not have regrets when you are older. Live a life of adventure—your adventure.
Henry James once said; “Live all you can; it’s a mistake not to. It doesn’t so much matter what you do in particular, so long as you have your life. If you haven’t had that, what have you had?” God has given us different personalities and different passions. He has woven us in different ways so that we all may find our own adventure, and so that he may use us in unique ways to complete his purpose for our life.
I meet many people who go to work in the morning and come home at night. They watch TV and they go to bed. On the weekends, they do very little. It is an endless cycle toward purposelessness, loneliness, and depression. My hope is that everyone will get out and live their life. God has given us so many different opportunities to push ourselves—from hiking, to sports, to art, to exploring, to travel. The opportunities are endless. We need to all find our own adventure and live our lives. “We must live all we can!”
